I’ve been struggling to get my book cover design together for CreateSpace. Every time I submit a file for the cover design they write me back saying it’s not right. The last email rejection I got from them said the writing on the front was too close to the edge of the cover. I assume they’re talking about the line with my name on it.
Okay, so I admit I didn’t read the instructions about how my file should look, but I’m really not very good at reading instructions. Everyone who knows me knows that. I need only point to The Great Kefir Experiment of 2009 as evidence.
I thought I could just wing it, but book covers seem to have a lot more in common with kefir grains than one would have originally thought. While I don’t look forward to reading the instructions I know that doing so will probably save me a lot of time and hassle in the long run.
My husband is in the background saying that I should have read the instructions in the first place. He doesn’t realize that you can’t hear him. Or maybe he does realize and he’s just talking to me.
LOL! Good luck on the cover. They can be tricky at times. Tell your husband. We hear him. (smile)
My first comment!!!
Thanks, Ja’Nese. I’ll tell him you heard him.
